 B) :)
A interesting update, what Skunk Works is up to be doing lately.
Carbon nanotubes, morphing wings, conductive aircraft surfaces, integratede sensors, uav swarms etc...
The story of aviation has always been the story of people who have the courage to fail, to try again, and to one day succeed. And the passion to advance aeronautical design through innovative solutions is ingrained in our culture.

Probably some forum members like flateric might make some screenshots and attach them to this topic soon. ;) :)

Very interesting that they are still doing basic research as a company, what is not really common in todays aerospace world anymore!

just a generic hypersonic concept

Another SR-72 design ?

Perhaps it was a design that was rejected for some reason, before Lockheed went with the final SR-72 design. It will be interesting to find out in a few years time.

Great video. I would really like to see the fan-in-wing concept come to fruition.

Small world. I went to college with the woman in the video. :)

Is it me, or does it look like at some points in the vid., there is a Sea Ghost mock up and not just the CGI model at some points?

SeaGhost mockup photos are around for a while in fact

My mistake. Now that you posted that image I remembered seeing it a while ago.

Thanks for sharing.
In the video, the SR-72 concept looks much smaller then I thought it would be.

On the top of the SR-72 in the video we can see a refueling entrance, the size of the plane look like a fighter.
