I stumbled across this interesting little FLIGHT article that presents dozens of light aircraft from around the world in 1920. There are some very interesting designs in there, many of them one-offs. The article begins, "We have received from the Controller of Information of the Department of Civil Aviation Technical Memo. No. 13, in the form of a summary of the existing information in regard to small sporting aeroplanes of 50 h.p. and under." Does anyone know where I might turn up a copy of that document?
