Hi all,

I had to learn that homebuiltairplanes.com is not for free. Before I go there and have to pay, please let me try my luck here.

The light aircraft shown in the picture was called "French" and "electrically driven", although in my eyes the engine does not look like this. I might be wrong as well.

Least, nobody could tell manufacturer and type. If you do, please tell us.

Thank you for every answer, and best regards,
RT

The picture is years old. I mean, the source is tn.nova.cz, but I can't remember exactly. The website looks like a Czech news channel and I think there is no chance to correctly reconstruct the source, because it surely changed a lot.

Found it myself by incident. Not French, but Czech, like tn.nova.cz. It is called VUT 051 Ray, and is an experimental electric aircraft.

BTW, Czech and Slovak experimental aircraft are hard to google out, even if the registration is visible. I already thougt about asking the embassies in Berlin for help.

Thank you for your interest, and regards,
RT

More pictures show the original plane as "001 Marabu" or "013 Ara". Lots of birds...

Anyway, they are closely related (the aircraft, not the birds) which is good enough for my indexing.
