The limited information we can find on this missile is summed up in a phrase that says "a short-range air-to-air missile", an adaptation of the German X-4 in "United States Naval Aviation by Roy A. Grossnick 1910 -1995", it is clear that this missile was developed just after the end of the war. Andreas Parsch also cites this unknown as an unidentified Navy project. It would have been interesting to see or learn more about this missile.
