Or were they thinking "this will keep the rain out?" And just how closely can you examine your average Da Vinci these days, anyway? And when those people keel over and are replaced with new people, the building will regain its soul, since for the new people the building is as it should be. Well, if "what it represents" results in some kids setting a grass fire and burning "the thing" to the ground, I suggest that a wrong choice was made.
