1. Kawasaki KDN-1 flying boat was made as an experiment as a substitute of KB flying boat lost in the accident.
2. The take-off run time of this flying boat is 17 to 35 second.
3. This flying boat had a severe vibration of the circumference of an engine, and became a flight stop.

The name of KDN-1 was Navy Giyu-No.3 Flying boat.(第三義勇飛行艇, Dai san Giyu-hikotei)
