@ Sundog - never underestimate the power of the bureaucracy. While the Army can get the FARA (scout) because no one else wants a aircraft of that mission size, the FLRAA aircraft is of a size that has a number of potential similar missions (F4 Phantom comes to mind) that will likely press OSD to push for a common air vehicle.@ marauder2048 - I was thinking the same thing.
