Hill Air Force Base Museum artists concept

While visiting the offices of the museum a few days ago, I saw this painting on the wall. It's from before the current museum buildings were built, and represents the ideas of one of the competing architectural firms. Please enjoy what they thought the aircraft would look like.

Love that on high-viz panels, looks "Republic".

...but with the vertical fin off of an F-100D,
and they've put the wings and tailplanes from the same aircraft
onto that poor F-102 fuselage...

I would say the foreground is Convair and the background is Republic.
