During lock down I've been amusing myself finding old films on Youtube. There is one film I am intrigued to find, I haven't seen it in years, maybe the late 70's.
It's a WWII film it starred an actor in the Rock Hudson vein, tall, dark haired and broad shouldered. He is 'undercover' in Germany and is looking into V weapons. The final part of the film show him discovering a force of mini subs, they were an extremely unlikely design, looking like a speed boat with a transparent bubble over the cockpit and they featured two missiles on launch rails at the rear of the boat. The plan was to transfer the mini subs on the back of full size subs to the American east coast, then release them off the major east coast cities. The mini subs would then enter the harbours surface and fire their missiles into the cities.
I think that this is a relatively accurate recap of the story but apologise if it isn't, as I said I haven't seen it in a very long time.
I would be extremely grateful if anyone could provide me with the title.
Thanks in advance.
