A brochure on the HP.111 shows it being used for paratroop dropping both rear doors being used. Also the addition of underwing paratroop pods could be used as well to increase capacity.

Would the Victor bomber have suffered it its fuselage was more like the HP.111 in profile?

The HP.111 drawings show wing tip tanks. Were these ever used or considered for the Victor?

The Victor B.2 had tanks halfway down the wing:

Handley Page had planned to add a 350gal fuel tank to each wing tip* as part of the original tanker conversion for the B2, however it was not taken up when the conversion passed to HSA at Woodford following HPs collapse.
