Hi,

Ian Hogg`s "German Secret Weapons of the Second World War" refer to this proposed air defence missile with infra-red homing. Any more clues?

Gonna revive this thread and propose the Wasserfall as a likely contender, possibly with something akin to Leitstrahstellung, just without radio. Japan had the Ke-Go, a similar infrared concept, though as far as I know, it never made it past testing. It's possible that the technology Japan used for the Ke-Go was derived from the Yanagi Missions. Hard to say. I breezed through the German Technical Aid to Japan document and I did not see anything relating to infrared, though I might have missed something.
