Google will no longer back up the Internet: Cached webpages are dead

Google Search will no longer make site backups while crawling the web.

Ah, this explains a lot of things. I had noticed the NASAspaceflight.com cache had gone missing.

And they say that to take backups is essential for everyone just in case something bad happens.
