Hello everyone! I'm VERY new here, and in honesty, originally made this account yesterday afternoon to be able to look at some files that I thought may be interesting for my research. I am very grateful that I did so, because I am very excited to participate in the forum! I wasn't entirely aware that spaces like this were a thing, and now that I know, I am glad to have been "enlightened," so to speak.
I decided that the best way to introduce myself is with the things that I create; I've also wanted a place where I can share them with the world for a very long time, and nothing really seemed to fit. I enjoy graphic design, and I enjoy drawing planes occasionally. I think the primary focus of this topic will most likely be the things that I've written and designed for my Speech & Debate Informative Speaking presentation, Hopeless Diamond: The F-117 Nighthawk. That, and when next year's competition season rolls around, my next presentation—whatever that may be. I design posterboards (finding images for which is an absolute pain) that are printed out and used to aid my speech, the script for which is here if you're interested. (Feedback is absolutely appreciated, especially if you see things that are inaccurate or can be improved on! It'll probably change a lot throughout the year, so bear in mind that a lot of things are most likely subject to change or actively being worked on.)
I'd like to begin by sharing the posterboards I designed to go along with my speech. I've resized them to comply with the 1200x1200 max rule for images, so they're about half the resolution.
Title & Development Boards: Operation Nighthawk Landing - Media Kit. Found this gem from Lockheed's website. Contains a gallery of dozens of VERY high-resolution photos of the restoration of "Unexpected Guest" for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. To access the high-resolution versions, click the download symbol. The .zip has so many incredible photos, and it's also where my profile picture is from!
Service: NARA & DVIDS Public Domain Archive. Nothing more than a photo archive, from what I can tell. I realized not long after having the boards printed out at Office Depot that I actually could've used an image twice the resolution of the one I used, and I definitely felt a bit silly. I was still very happy with how it turned out regardless.
Sunset: Alpha Mike Aviation Photography. Uploaded on his Flickr. The original image doesn't have clouds, and I had to make it warmer to cancel out the deep blue—mainly for the sake of Office Depot's printers. The original image (and the others very similar on his page) of the Nighthawk at sunset almost brought a tear to the eye. It's not often you find an image that so perfectly and beautifully matches what you want to convey to the audience.
With the exception of Service, as I wasn't able to, I've also archived these on the Wayback Machine—just in case. If anyone is reading this in 2034 after the Nighthawk is finally put to rest, you're welcome!
Going forward, I'll probably post things that I design for this presentation in the likely event that I decide to have more visual aids. And, not impossibly, perhaps redesign a board entirely. Who knows? If I feel like you guys would like it, and it's something I made, I'll share it. Thanks for reading, and I'm very excited to share in things I'm passionate about!

Please don't use these, online or otherwise! The sources to the original images are listed below, and in higher resolution. Thank you!
