September 7, 1924 on behalf of the Ilyushin ODVF USSR announced second-Union glider test open. They involved all three glider Ilyushin. Among these, the greatest number of flights was performed on APS-4 "Rabfakovets." Glider found complete fitness for training purposes. According to the memoirs V.S.Pyshnova, fly "Rabfakovetse", "... easy glider taking off from, well run and fly at low speed, so that the instructor could run around cadet glider and give instructions." At this glider was made many flights, and for many glider flight "Rabfakovtse" was a kind of air "baptism." After completing the tests AVF-4 received the second prize in the class training gliders, and his description of the construction drawings were reproduced for gliding discs
But to find a picture or diagram to say about chertizhah failed.
Someone has information on this glider

AVF-4 "Rabfakovets"
length - 6m,
span - 12.3 m,
Wing Area - 21.5 m
Empty weight - 48kg.
specific load on the wing -5.3 kg/m2.
Layout scheme and construction of AVF-4 was similar to the well-known glider initial training BRO-11.

PS. If my home files to save an additional visual information from the museum gliding in Koktebel (or rather what's left of it) ((
will post later.

Hi!
http://www.airwar.ru/enc/glider/avf4.html
"The construction of the training AMF-4 began in March 1924 in the Institute of Communication courses, which defined the name of the glider "Rabfakovets". According to the scheme and design, "Rabfakovets" was the further development of the "Mastyazhart" glider and was sometimes called AMF-time of 6 months. From his predecessor, he was marked by a large area and an extension of the wing, as well as a gondola in which the cockpit was stationed. Compared to the "Mastjazhartom", the cockpit was forwarded against the wing, allowing the centre to be moved and the longitudinal stability of the glider improved. The glider was completed in May 1924."

Wow!! Thanks a lot.
Off topic.
"The AVF-5 "Mastjazhart-2" glider was radically different from its predecessor of the same name in 1923. It was a monoplane-parasol with a wing of a large elongation (12.5), which allowed to increase the aerodynamic quality of the airframe and improve its planning properties. A distinctive feature of AVF-5 was the device of transverse control: ailerons were absent, and instead of them "goshirovanie" - curvature of the surface of the wing itself was used. This lateral control, which was previously installed on the first Newport and Moran aircraft, was used, in all probability, to reduce weight and simplify the design of the wing. We built a glider in the glider circle of the Workshops of heavy artillery in Lefortovo.

The AWF-14 training glider was created in the workshop of the Air Fleet Academy. It was a free-carrying monoplane with a wing of great elongation (13.6), reinforced from above with a relatively low fuselage. The wing in the plan had an arcuate front and a straight trailing edge, a large fraction of the trailing edge of the wing was occupied by ailerons. The pilot was placed in the cockpit of the fuselage in front of the leading edge of the wing. "
