Ukraine has been receiving the whole palette of NATO artillery from the UK 105mn light gun to German 155mm PZH2000.
The diversity of NATO artillery had been reduced to some extent by moving away from 105mm and 203mm weapons to mainly 155mm.
However, most major NATO members still design and make their own systems.
The development of successor systems is already underway. During the Cold War NATO members mainly used the M109. Could a new weapon system achieve the same commonality?
