"Les Freres Nieuport et Leurs Avions" is a comprehensive history of the Nieuport brothers and their aircraft. The book is 350 pages, 19 x 26 cm, softcover, with numerous b&w photos and drawings throughout, many previously unpublished. Originally published at 30 € or about $40. Lower right corner was dented during transit from France, but book is otherwise in great condition. The second book, "le Grand Essor de l'Hydraviation 1913-1934," is a comprehensive history of the flying boats produced by FBA—Franco-British Aviation. This book is in excellent "like new" condition. The author is Watanabe Yoji. The book is 192 pages, contains ~400 b/w photos, is 18 x 26 cm in size, published by Bungei Shunju in March 2005, and is a soft cover with dust jacket. "Fighting Sea-Eagles" is an excellent book with MANY never seen before photos of IJN airplanes. FANTASTIC collection of floatplane photos. Three Reikan scratching the tops of palm trees at Penang; one showing a Seiran taking off; and a rare shot of the He 112, among many others. This is not to be missed.
