I decided to start this new topic to solve my long time striking problem with designation of the FIAT CR.25.
Question is why the FIAT CR.25 designed in 1937 has lower number than the FIAT CR.30 which designing begun in 1930 ;
both machines were designed by Celestino Rosatelli, though.
Is it possible that original designation of the aircraft was FIAT BR.25 as it has been intended to create a high-speed light bomber
and reconnaissance machine at the start, with the bomb-aimer place in the nose and full bombardment outfit ?
