A photo of a model of the LKhS-4 is found on page 472 of the book Unflown Wings, showing the feature used for folding the wings of the LKhS-4, and the piston powerplant for the aircraft was the LOM Praha M-132R. The joint stock company involved in design of the LKhS-4 is actually known in Russian as Feniks-Aviatekhnika (Cyrillic: Феникс-Авиатехника).
