I will be giving another talk at the RAeS in April. 60+ years of supersonic STOVL (and 50 years of the Harrier in service).

Working on this at the moment. Some projects that will feature that may be new to people:

1980s UK supercruise fighter based on Concorde
1960s M3.5 V/STOL fighter - amalgam of P.1154 and SR-71
1980s drones/manned 'systems of systems'
Tornado/Harrier replacements from the 1980s (lasers!)

Also views on what happened 1990s-present, at least what can be shown publicly.

Oh my Mercy God,you made my day my dear Harrier, many thanks.

Doing slides today. So many pictures to choose from; interesting and/or new wins.

Happy to chat with any forum members who can make it.

Stuck on the wrong side of the Irish Sea, unfortunately. Good luck with the talk!

Thanks. Hard to tell which is the wrong side these days!

If it wasn't for kids at school I would hope to be at this: https://www.thejournal.ie/alcock-and-brown-100-festival-4066233-Jun2018/

Fascinating topic. Too bad I am also on the wrong? opposite? side of the ocean.
Good luck! ;)

Thanks. A lot of it will be about those 'over the pond', so you will be there in spirit!
