F7U-3 Cutlass

I also see that Gerard Keijsper's F-35 In service with air forces around the world had been further put back until the 30 September as well, anyone got any information as to what is going on?

May I ask if there is content on alternative designs during the initial development stage, and on later unbuilt versions or derivatives? Thanks.

I got this book a little while ago on the strength of the author's previous Skyhawk book, and wanting to know more about the Cutlass having seen one recently in the flesh.

I think that "comprehensive" is the best description for this, briefly covering F7U-1 but then into -3 and the various concepts development and usage.

Some of the main insights from it are simply around the state of US naval aviation at this time e.g. summary of each accident and mitigation, whether this was Cutlass design modification or operating procedures.

Got my copy for my birthday back in December, I can certainly agree with you red admiral on what I have read about it so far and it certainly is comprehensive and well worth it getting.
