I got this book a little while ago on the strength of the author's previous Skyhawk book, and wanting to know more about the Cutlass having seen one recently in the flesh.
I think that "comprehensive" is the best description for this, briefly covering F7U-1 but then into -3 and the various concepts development and usage.
Some of the main insights from it are simply around the state of US naval aviation at this time e.g. summary of each accident and mitigation, whether this was Cutlass design modification or operating procedures.
