Agreed, it looks as though the contest has been open and honest in terms of the conditions attached. Airbus and Dassault went into it with their eyes open, figured out the costs and decided it wasn't for them.While we could whine, the fact is there is no fighter procurement competition anywhere is not bundled up with local politics, from Bulgaria to India, Egypt to Poland. Its not an easy business trying to sell fighters.
