Early European shuttle with Ariane

ohhh dear Flight Global got it wrong Again !

some of this stuff is not Europa Shuttle but early Ariane 5 study !
CNES look in 1980s for Alternatives for recover first stage

French came up with (labeled on Pic with ) Hx fly-back booster
Germany came up with H-60 stage cluster ballistic recovering

in the end it was to expensive to develop and build
so they start to modified Ariane 4 to 5 Wat end oup in the Ariana 5 we know.
