Hi,
Brothers Armand and Henri Dufaux built two helicopters in 1900 and
1905,No.1 and No.2 respectively,and No.3 was a triplane experimental
airplane of 1908,followed by No.4,a single seat tractor biplane of 1909,
powered by one Antoinette engine,the No.5 was improved version and
powered by one Gnome engine,that had been happened in
Switzerland.
In France,Armand Dufaux formed Societe pour la Construction et
l’Entretien d'Avions, Paris in 1914,he designed and built the C.1,it was
a two-seat fighter biplane,and it had extraordinary shape,by mounted
the propeller in the middle of the fuselage behind cockpit,powered by
one 110 hp Le Rhone engine in 1915.
At 1916 he created the Canon-Fighter,it was a single seat fighter
with 37-mm Hotchkiss cannon,powered by two rotary engines,
remained a Project and its estimated speed was 200 km/h.
