Douglas DC-5 Bomber Project

Not having found anything elsewhere about a would-be DC-5 based bomber, I returned to the initial image shared by hesham, and it is possible that the answer to that is right there for all to see: it was merely one magazine's own speculation.

To be honest, there is another different drawing to a bomber version of DC-5,from reliable source, but I can't share it.

There is also a four engined version ?.
There was a version of the DC-5 that was proposed with four Ranger 12-cylinder inverted V air-cooled engines, but it was an airliner not a bomber.

Sorry for this mistake,I thought that,I had a two drawings to a four engined
civil and bomber versions, but in fact I have only one for civil concept in
a book; Douglas Propliners DC-1 to DC-7,but unfortunately I can't find the
other source which declared that,Douglas had a plans to develop a four
engines version in both civil and bomber concepts, but the projects were
terminated.
