But I couldn't find the information.
Are the four .50 machine guns in the Bearcat the high-rate M3 model, or the low-rate M2 model?

Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles on Youtube did an article on the Bearcat, I believe. Greg has a lot of documentation on every plane he covers, and a lot of those are primary source. You might be able to source a primary source document from him.

Here's a primary source PDF showing it was M2.

Almost all the books and documents for Bearcat just say "50 cal Browning" without specifying.
