After the first jets (5 or 6 seats abreast cabin with a small underbelly hold around 100 cm high), various proposals were made for double-decker jets. Including VC-10 Super:

Upper deck exactly as standard VC-10 (148´´ outside width, 80´´ headroom) - but a lower lobe, 157´´ outside width and 78´´ headroom was added for 6 abreast:

There were more such proposals - Boeing and Douglas wanted to build double-deckers at 7...8 abreast, before they went for a wider main deck at 9...10 abreast and belly hold for cargo only at 66´´ headroom.
Are the specifications of those other proposals available?
