Dietrich Aircraft Designations
Richard Dietrich Flugzeugbau GmbH - 1922, Mannheim
Dietrich-Gobiet Flugzeugbau AG (DGF) - 1923, Kassel
-- Merger with Anatole Gobiet's Belgian engineering firm
Dietrich Flugzeugwerke AG - 1927 Teltow (Berlin)
-- Solo project w/o Gobiet, Raab, Katzenstein, or Hall
On Dietrich designations: I have seen 'DP' defined as 'Dietrich Passagier' but have no way of confirming this. Then there is the single 'DS' designation ... perhaps for 'Dietrich Schule'? 'Dietrich Sport'? Who knows?
