Hi,

the Beriev Be-310 was a land-based passenger derivative
of the Be-200 that could seat up to 100 passengers. While
retaining the Be-200's cabin length and height of 18m and
2m respectively,the Be-310 derivative's modified fuselage
enables the floor width to be increased from 5.5m to 3.1m,
allowing for three-abreast seating.

With an MTOW of 42,000kg,the Be-310 would have a range
of over 2,100km with 102 passengers in high-density layout,
or 74 in a two-class cabin.A lower-capacity,VIP version would
have a range of 5,000km.The sleeker fuselage would enable
maximum cruising speed of rise by 27kt to 405kt and maximum
altitude would increase by 6,600ft to 32,800ft.

Market of midrange planes is very tough. It seems to me there is no place for Be-310. But as for patrols for replacement of Be-12 and Il-38 Be-300 could be actual.

Janes 2004/05 also have Beriev Be-310 as a landplane derivative of the Be-210 which is a passenger derivative of the Be-200, so I'm not convinced the designation is bogus. What is your evidence?

It seems to be Be-300 = land based Be-200, Be-310 = land based Be-210.

The book Unflown Wings describes the Be-310 as an airliner version of the Be-300 cargo transport; the Be-310 design was similar to the Be-300 in having a fuselage circular in cross-section, and it had a five-abreast seating arrangement. The derivation of the Be-300 and Be-310 designs from the Be-200 and Be-210 respectively reminds me of when Blohm und Voss used the Bv 238 flying boat as the basis for the proposed Bv 250 transport landplane.

The image posted on this thread is of the Be-210, not the Be-310. Does anyone know of line drawings or any other depictions of the Be-310 land-based airliners?

Be-210: Announced in 1998; development of Be-200
multirole amphibian for airline use in regions of minimal
airport infrastructure. Seating for two pilots, two
attendants and 72 passengers at 75 cm (29½ in) seat pitch.
Other details may be assumed to be similar to Be-200, but
airframe strengthened for extra fuel in wing centre-section
(42,000 kg; 92,594 lb MTOW) and ferry range increased
to 2,483 n miles (4,600 km; 2,858 miles}, or 998 n miles
(1,850 km; 1,149 miles) with full passenger load. In 2001 ,
foreign investors, including Scorpion of Greece, showing
interest in developing BR715-engined airliner version of
Be-200; this may can-y Be-210 designation.

In the passenger version, the aircraft can carry up to 72 passengers over a distance of 1400 km, while the crew includes two flight attendants.

As expected, Unflown Wings is wrong. Compare the Beriev drawing of Be-210 above with the Be-310:

Be-300MP

Therefore, the projects of the Aircraft Company to create on the basis of the Be-200 "land" variants with the replacement of the "boat" fuselage with a conventional one (aircraft type) became quite logical. It is known that TANTK is currently working on two "land" versions of the Be-200 - the AWACS aircraft and the Be-250 control (for a promising radar system developed by the Vega concern) and the Be-300 aircraft in the patrol and anti-submarine Be-300MP versions ( with the installation of a promising search and sighting system "Kasatka" developed by JSC "Radar-MMS"). "Kasatka" is also offered for the new patrol version of the Be-200 amphibian under the designation Be-200MP.
