FRADU Blue Herons have remained fairly obscure, despite high accolades at RIAT in the late 70s. Four Hunter GA.Mk.11.

The Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Armed Forces have fielded a variety of demonstration teams over the years, however, them seem to have standardized since 1967, when the "Golden Centenaires" started flying (then new) Canadair Tutor jet trainers. The squadron was later re-named "Snowbirds" and is now the only RCAF squadron still flying Tutors.

My favourite Canadian demo team remains the Goldilocks ( a play on Golden Hawks). Contemporaries of the better known Golden Hawks, there were instructors from Moose Jaw who had a bit of a tongue in cheek approach. This is a shot of their trademark crazy flyby. The sound alone sticks in your memory.
