The Rafale is a fine aircraft and I'm sure it will serve Egypt very well.Re: Poland its more a case of the F-16 already being in service and being cheaper than the Rafale (while also being very capable) while if they have more money to spend the Poles would almost certainly be able to get the F-35, which Egypt is not likely to be allowed to buy in the near future.For political reasons Poland may also favour US fighters while for Egypt likely some of the motivation for the Rafale buy was to demonstrate less reliance on the US.
