I'm not sure how old are these or how far all this stuff (tested in Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics wind tunnels) from the real hardware.

No, Scott, surely for Krokozia. This one is too old technology comparing to their plywood 'stealth ecranoplane'.
If you are serious, sometimes I feel a shame looking which political regimes we are supporting.

Great. The next leap forward in military technology for Iran...
Oh, but it will be made from medium density fiberboard from the local home improvement shop with a two stroke gasoline engine from a weed trimmer attached to the back on a crudely welded frame made from a lawn chair.

Just sayin'...

Scott, as you probably know, there are many rumours about what's this and how this Shkval-like stuff went to Iran.
Shkvals were produced in Kasakhstan in USSR time, while warheads were made in Kirgizia.
There was a full bunch of technical documentation there apart from design bureau itself.

May be technical documentation was stolen/sold by this - now new countries - new governments or bad guys.
May be Iran just bought Shkval-E export version at us directly.

It's not a reason to hate me personally or my country as well, I'm not responsible for dumb or money-driven desicions someone made.
This forum is to share information we have and hope not to discuss our political point of views - more, not to discuss our politics wicked brains.
80% of items discussed here are made to kill people by less or more techologically advanced way, so what? For most of us these are masterpieces of technology, we don't think of their practical usage.

Calm yourself. This is just some good-natured ribbing, not "hatred."

Besides, if the Iranians use high-tech weapons against the West that they purchased from elsewhere, we'll simply send B-2's to vaporize the production facility. No sweat! ;D

Me who has B-2 giant poster signed by Irv Waaland in front of working table is supporting last idea. ;D
