Dear forumites,
am interested in the fate of the Clairco Super Cheetah, designed and first flown September 22, 1964 by David Saunders, built at Aircraft Industries of Canada Ltd. .
It was an all-metal, fixed undercarriage, four-seater monoplane with a Lycoming O-540 235 hp engine. Only the prototype was built and registered CF-RSA-X.
Oddly enough is an aircraft named Moody Siple made by EADS in France - it looks completely similar to the Clairco Cheetah! It had a severe incident in 2012. It was registered N73HS (Jan 12, 1978 - Jul 25, 1991) and then N78RB (valid reg).
Can somebody shed some light and can solve this strange riddle?
Martin
