Silly.The "X2-esque" behind is intriguing.I have done some more consideration of what appears to be a hybrid electic/turbine propulsion means. It is at least an intriguing idea as a means to overcome the CTOL restrictions that may very well be the limiting factor of airpower in the coming years. Beyond that straight wings, with all that mass on the front of tilting wings, does not seem to me to be worthy of all the shaping of the fuselage. Is this a viable alternative to tilt rotor?@Mods - perhaps this bit should be moved to a seperrate thread?
