did you guys notice their prop driven AEW platform .. towards the end of the video.

Yeah, looks like an An-12. What caught my eye was that MiG-21 in sort of an 80s NATO armor camoflage. I'd love to see some photos of that.

that was of course their 'own' Mig 21 that is the J-7

aaah now I know why I mentioned it in the first place .. that video shows the Y-8 Awacs as distinct from the Y-8 AEW (An-12 based of course)
