Found this piccie on the net,That unknown type is Stinson Detroiter, one (or model of one, can't tell from the picture) of six machines delivered to China in 1929-1930 and from the summer of 1930 serving with the China National Aviation Corporation. (I was lucky and found that the Yu symbol on the side denoted civilian aircraft in 1929-1942)
Yes, cancelled, as you know, in favour of licence building the An-24, which became the Y7. The Il-14 saw extensive use in China however. Mao's personal transport is in a museum in Shanghai.As I posted in Hongdu Aircraft & Projects, seems Y-6 should be the Chinese version Il-14.
