I don't see how that is disingenuous considering the first part of that quote is "In the past, we had to follow others' paths when it came to designing military aircraft".In any case, I am more interested in whether it is referring merely to adding the strike capability to J-20 (which would be a simple enough thing to add on to the aircraft as it is), or if they are thinking about other more dedicated roles in cyber, EW, ISR, UAV/UCAV control.
