On April 15, 1932, the Materiel Division of the U.S. Army Air Corps at Wright Field issued what was then "Confidential" data on the characteristics and performances of British and French aircraft (and possibly others). The data could be shared with industry contractors, and that is how the data ended up in a very long submittal document from Bellanca for a Navy fighter. These charts are fascinating, not only because they provide a glimpse of what the Air Corps considered noteworthy foreign designs, but also because of the detailed specs for many obscure types and of the source documents listed for each type.
