Hello. Do you anybody know, how is difference between FH-95 and CH-95 drones? Is FH-95 and CH-95 two alternative defignations for same drone or designations for two different drones?
Short answer is: No, not really. But we can always speculate ...
Both airframes seem to be outsized developments of the CASC CH-92. Visually, the two UAVs seem indistinguishable. Descriptions suggest that the CASC Caihong (Rainbow) CH-95 is a multi-role type while the Feihong (Soaring Swan) FH-95 has been tailored for ECM/EW (despite a prototype being seen armed with small FT-8C ASMs).
The limited specs available of the FH-95 match the CH-95 ... except one. The max ceiling for the CH-95 is given as 5,000 m. FH-95 ceiling is 2.56 time higher (at 12,800 m). That suggests a longer span for the FH-95 - although such is not obvious in photos - and perhaps more power than the 100 hp pusher prop quoted for the CH-95.
BTW, there is some online mention of FH-95 operating in concert with the FH-97 UCAV. I find that hard to fathom. The high-speed FH-97 - like all 'loyal wingman' style concepts - is surely meant to operated alongside equally high-speed fighters ... not a pokey, 280 km/h max speed MALE UAV like the FH-95.
