RIp Frank Carson today, helicopter pioneer and legend .of Carson helicopters.
Had pleasure over the years at Heli Expo in states to see CArson Fire Kings, converted from Sikorsky S-61N into S-61L or ex US NAvy Sea Kings anyhow heres my photos from heli Expo 2007 in Orlando
And then following year Heli Expo 2008 in Houston, saw their Fire King wiht installed Sagem all glass cockpit so here are my photos
Also for our Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Commando Helicopter Force (CHF) Sea King Commando Mk4 fleet were upgraded for Afghanistan operations with CArson's composite blades under Urgent Operational Requirement around 2 decades ago.
