Caproni Ca.170 and Ca.171 tandem-seat trainer projects (1937)

The designations Caproni Ca.170 and Ca.171 are no longer a mystery, thanks to the documents currently shared on the Mallams auction site: they belonged to a biplane tandem-seat trainer, typical of its time but bland and unimpressive compared to many of its contemporaries.

Here are the images for the Caproni Ca.170, which was to be powered by an Isotta-Fraschini Astro 7 radial engine:
