That's a fantastic document that Bill Upton put together.
I wish more semi-obscure aerospace programs got this type of treatment from retired engineers.

the early RPV or UAV Projects always is an interesting subjects.

Agreed. I'm attaching another document by Bill Upton about the CL-227 which will complement the one that's been posted.
It's actually the last 9 pages from a longer document devoted to the CL-84 and all previous and later VTOL designs by Canadair.
