Thats correct, was about to post that. The clue was the "JT-1" in the photo.

Yeah. There was also a second "Jeanie's Teenie", the Teenie Two.

Both the JT-1 and JT-2 were designs of Mr. Calvin Y. Parker who marketed the plans.
The JT-1 first flew in 1968 and a few were built (N4450/N8611/N71JS are examples). The JT-2 followed in 1968 and it seems safe to assume that 100+ were completed, especially in the USA.
The Freudiger SF-01 (HB-YAO) was a modified JT-1 built in Switzerland by Mr. Stefan Freudiger and completed in 1974.

Thanks, all, for these posts. It's great to see homebuilt aircraft featured here at SPF.

Calvin Parker's designs were revolutionary in bringing factory-type all-metal contraction to low-cost, low-power homebuilt aircraft.

Gary Watson's Windwagon was derived from the Teenie Two and there is still a builder's Community supporting the design.

Watson's Windwagon in turn inspired Morry Hummel's Bird and later Ultracruiser designs which are still popular today.

And Hummel's designs inspired the most recent development, Bruce King's roomier BK1.

These plans look so much like the modern Ultracruiser from Hummel Aviation:). Minor design modifications and voila, Ultracruiser! The big difference in weight must be do to canopy, fuel tank size, nose landing gear and possibly thickness of skin! Very nice plans! Does anyone knows if there's a floats design for this plane or something similar?? Would be VERY INTERESTING to see this plane flying of water ;).

With - at most - 85 horsepower generated by a modified 2100 cc VW engine, I doubt if an Ultracruiser would fly very well on floats. You would be better off starting with a dedicated STOL airframe like a Zenith 700 series. Even so, 85 hp. is not quite enough horsepower to lift a Z 700, plus floats, plus two big men from a short lake. Most Z 700 have 100 hp. or more

Yates Parker was the designer of the t-2. His mother lived in meridian ms. I rented a room from her when I was stationed at the naval base in 1963. He traveled all over trailing a partially built example of the aircraft behind his car,selling its plans. He was dedicated to the idea that the average person with basic skills could build their own plane. I spent many hours listening to him. He was an exceptional example of what the Eaa would consider a pioneer of personal aviation.
