ACCESS: Secret
Apart from a 3 view drawing and a small paragraph in Richard Payne's Stuck on the Drawing Board, I've not been able to find much information about this design, however I recently stumbled across a 'brochure' for it. It appears to be for internal use within BAe and is dated 5th September 1989, presentation is very basic with plain covers and an almost photocopier like quality to the pages, definitely has a 'last throw of the dice' feeling to it. Intriguingly there is a proposed stretched regional jet version (NRJ?) and a 'Future Study' which quite frankly looks like someone was trying desperately to differentiate it from the baseline version but could only manage by making the design include swept forward wings...
