Ealy 198 configuration was very similar to Bristol GOR 339. my photo ;D

Very beautiful SST. Landscape visibility is excellent. But fuel charge and engine maintenance seems to be little problem.

Awsome looking design! I could see this as one of the 'Thunderbird 6'
But then again, I read somewhere that many of the engineers on the Concord program said they were influenced by the TV show 'Thunderbirds!!

My all time favorite GOR339 contender, straight out of a sci-fi comic. Awesome looking machine.

as for the M-wing above - I thought it was a Handley Page design ? a transonic, mach 1.15 design (maybe I'm mixing different things here).
