Hi,
the Boulton Paul P.96 was a single-engined turret fighter project,intended to Spec.
F18/40,but not all of its variants had a turret,P.96A had no turret but six forward
machine gun,P.96B had aturret with only two forward machine gun,P.96C had a
turret with four forward machine gun,P.96D had no turret but six or four machine
gun.
