Hello all,
In the late 70s-early 80s, it seems that Boeing came-up with a strange small airliner concept:
- boarding through the nose
- air intake in front with conduit all along the top of the fuselage
- mysterious circular vent above the engines:

This illustration found by chance on the net is the only info I got.
Any further information?
Many thanks in advance.

The circular 'vent' looks like an intake for a lift fan. Being so far back though would seem odd...unless there are more details being missed.

Could be thrust reversers, cover vanes are perpendicular to air flow rather than in line. Or auxiliary intake for blown flaps?

We talked about it before, but where ?.
