Now it is 6,500 words and 94 or so footnotes, os the story will be an in-depth history of the various weaponry constituting a projected Cold War era U.S. space force. I'm waiting to hear from my Military Editor and what he will say about it since I trod down unknown references to post WW II military space operations right up to and slightly beyond the initial Sputnik launches. This will be a unique look into the nuts n' bolts constituting a planned space force that would have consumed vast amounts of money just to research, build and test orbital weapons prior to paying for their operational use.
