.... shows the Boeing Model 733-606-12 supercrusie demonstrator project from about 1977. It is a rare patent in that it is quite detailed and the accuracy jives with what I have from other sources.

It could have been on the Boeing drawing board as a corporate SST proposal.
 
It is a rare patent in that it is quite detailed
and to that extent , as a patent seeking to protect an invention, it is quite baffling. How can its early claims stand? Most of its various features individually are surely by 1983 subject to prior publication, or obvious. Taken together they are so restricted in scope that moderate variations in design would circumvent the patent. Perhaps its purpose was to act itself as 'prior publication' held in secret during the application period to prevent other patentees interfering with Boeing's line of development?
But this is a long way from the subject of the thread.

It was a proposal (designed at least in part under NASA contract) for a supercruise demonstrator for supersonic transports. but I've seen it in USAF colors in a lot of artwork and at the Bopeing archive in model form, so I've little doubt that an interceptor variant or possibly strike, or possibly recon, or possibly highpriority transport) was also proposed. I think it'd be just way too big and expensive to be a commercial/corporate passenger plane.
 
When I was in college, my Senior Aircraft Design Class had some very high quality blueprints of this design, about eleven and one half inches high by about two and a half feet long. In fact, we had high quality drawings for most of the SST drawings/design studies as well. We weren't allowed to make copies of them, but I wish I would have anyway. :-\
 
Is the Model 733-606-12 the same as the so-called "Model 606" shown here? Certainly looks it.
