Boeing pair of chase planes T-33 T Birds known as Red Bird and Blue Bird made their last flight after 46 years of supporting their flight test operations. Believe they are being replaced with TA-4 Skyhawks.

cheers

Good work. Especially when you consider that the first copy of the family made its first flight in 1944... 77 years ago... and that it was one of the very first jet models.

Do we know what they will be replaced by?

Wow. So Boeing was still flying T-33s ? I thought NASA old controled stability bird and Canada's were the last ones in service...

T-33 really is early jets DC-3. The one that never, ever dies.
