Bennett (Globe) BTC-1 « Executive »

Also found as a "Breese Bennett" and a "Bowlus Bennett" the Bennett BTC-1 « Executive » was the sole product of the Bennett Aircraft Corporation before it became the Globe Aircraft Corp. (in fact the aircraft also appears as the Globe BTC-1 in several sources).

It was quite an aesthetically pleasing and advanced design for 1937, yet remained a one-off project. The Beechcraft 18 was clearly a formidable competitor on the twin-engine market, and it must have been hard to compete!

It's hard to find more pics or info on this nice bird... Can anyone add?

Hi looking at site for abandoned and little used airfields in Texas (well I have to have a hobby!), I came across this pic of the original base for Bennett Aircraft Corporation at Saginaw, TX complete with the BTC-1 sat on the front pan.
